Self-Adhesive Butyl Sound Deadening Sheets
Reduce unwanted panel vibration and rattles in a campervan or van conversion with self-adhesive butyl sheets faced with aluminium foil. Apply to suitable clean metal areas before adding separate insulation and lining.
Choose your pack
- Select 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90 or 100 sheets from the product options.
- One selected option supplies that number of sheets; it does not specify a coverage area.
- Construction: butyl layer, aluminium foil facing and peel-off adhesive backing.
Where and how to fit
Suitable locations can include clean, dry metal door skins, wheel arches, side panels, floors and bulkheads where access and clearances allow. Degrease and dry the metal, cut the sheet to shape, remove the liner and press firmly into place with a fitting roller. Follow the product and vehicle manufacturer's guidance around wiring, moving parts, drainage, heat and ventilation. Acoustic results vary by vehicle and coverage.
Complete your lining
Combine with separately sold Dacron wadding or closed-cell foam and 4-way stretch carpet where suitable for your build. Insulation, carpet and adhesive spray are not part of this pack.
